Here's a good site on breeding and care of them. http://www.amphibian.co.uk/bombina.html

I've heard some ways to get them to breed, you should gradually make the water a little cooler every week. And you should mist them or make like it's raning on them.

well i added my male to my female today. he is VERY persistent in mating w/ her! he holds on to her for dear life! however she is not interested in mating w/ him what so ever. she hasnt been interested in any of the males shes been w/. ive heard that the toad that makes the cooing noise as he barks to her can either be a male telling the male he made a mistake or the female trying to tell the male she does not want him on her right now. this is correct, right? ive been trying to mist them often but im not too sure how i should go about the water temperatures. well... i guess ill just hope for the best...
also, can anyone give me a thorough description of what the FBT eggs look like? this would be greatly appreciated!

The females don't make noises, that I know of. If the one on the botton is making noises it might be a male. Their probaly look like these, just might not be in a line of them (just balls of them near each other), and the black dots will probaly be smaller.

well i really hope this is a female b/c i know ive read about that a few times on some websites... whether theyre correct or not.. but she has never barked as in to try to mate... only that cooing... and she has all the other signs.... well so the eggs will def be black? i found some small white eggs in jell like that... i know there are a few snails that got into my tank from some plants but i didnt think snails laid their eggs in jell. thank you so much for the help youve gave
