I know this has nothing to do with this site, but I was curious if someone could help me out. My dad has been looking into breeding his Sun Conure parrots, he has 4 females. I have been trying to find him a male, but everytime someone puts one up for sale by the time I call them or write them its gone. Do any of you guys out there know of anyone who would have these parrots? I would appreciate any info you guys have!! Thanks in advance!!

I know several places in California to get sexed birds.

We have a bird show in our state, just like a herp show. You can usually find pretty good deals from what I've heard. Check the bird magazines as they usually list details on swaps and shows. I saw a Sun Conure at a herp show, but conures are a bit loud for me, I prefer cresteds

I agree they are loud. I own 34 cresteds, 3 gargoyles, and 3 bearded dragons. My dad is the one that got me started into animals period. When I was about 3 is when my dad brought home my first box turtle. 20 years later, I still have a house full of animals and so does he. He's bought me so many animls over the years that I would like to get this parrot for him!!'
