Chameleo Pfefferi or Rompholeon species

Anthonyd Jan 22, 2005 05:49 PM

Does anyone know any breeders of Chameleo Pfefferi? What about any Rompholeon species? I am more really intrigued by these species, especially the leaf chams.

No has bred pfefferi that I know of. The only possibility might be Susan James of the ADCHAM forum. She is very secretive about her work, so don't expect much info. You might be able to search archives of the ADCHAM forum for any posts about them though. Also, the correct genus name for leaf chams is Rhampholeon. There are other genus in that same group including Brookesia and Bradypodion. You keep asking about rather obscure cham species. It sounds like you should invest in one or more of the better cham books such as Petr Necas' Chameleons, Nature's Hidden Jewels. It is more recent and very informative. Check for this and other newer cham books at www.calumma.com
