Can cresties eat snails??

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if crested geckos can/should eat snails?

Their jaws are not powerful enough to crush the shell of a land snail. That�s more of a big monitor or tegu thing. Besides I really do not think they would be that interested. Why the question, have you been finding a lot in your yard?

Thanks for your reply.

With regards to the snails, I keep uroplatus (leaf-tailed geckos) and they love the snail. They eat them up like they are going out of fashion and the shells of full of calcium for them. So I was just wondering if teh practise would carry over, especially since I have an adult male who is suffering from MBD at the moment.
