My baby albino burm whistles/wheezes a bit every so often while I am holding him, is this normal? (It's not a hiss.)

Keeping burms too dry is a common ailment for captive burms (which usually causes wheezing/whistling noises from dried mucous membranes). Sometimes their heat sensitive labial pits get clogged (once again, due to dryness in most cases). Make sure your humidity levels are good (w/good air flow)...that will make all of the difference.
