what to invest in??

woodage Jan 23, 2005 09:37 AM

Right now I have a male graziani pastel and a het for albino pair . I also have 10 normal females. I am about to make a couple more purchaces. I have the opportunity to buy a yellow ghost male, a 100% het caramel male, and a 100% het pied male. Im wondering what would be the better buy as far as the future and combining morphs ect? Your thoughts??
Many thanks...

Unless your looking at also getting het females or a group of pos het females for the pied and carmel, I'd go with the gost for sure, every combo out there can benifit with gost combo in my eyes and they are vastly underated in my eyes..... If your also getting the het females, I'd go with the carmel's.

you know, you are going to get 100 different answers. i personally have albinos, pieds, and pastels. it all depends on how long you want to wait for a visable morph. if you go with the hets it is going to take a while. i would purchase carmel or pied het females, grow them for a while - takes longer to get to breeding size then males - take the money i make from the pastel/norms and purchase a carmel male and/or pied male to breed to the hets i bought earlier. but thats just me.

You pretty much cannot go wrong with any of the ball python morphs. What do you want to see pop out of a eggs? How much money do you have to spend? That depends ALOT on what Morph the play around with. I think a female spider would be a good choice, Then you would have a shot at bumble bees, even if you don't get the bumble bees you will get pastels and spiders. Female pastel could be good also, SUPERS would be nice coming out of an egg. Once you have a SUPER then you can make several other combos easyier. Pastels ghosts are nice also, get a orange ghost female and make pastel ghosts. But you still have to get the type of morph you like looking at or can afford. Thanks DAVID

Maybe a '69' Camero SS. I've seen'em go for major green lately. I'm sure they'll only go up with time. If you don't like cars and want ball pythons, get what you like and stick with it. You'll make your money back eventually.
