I had problems with getting temps up in basement room and was advise to use plastic or insulation and put this up all around the cage area. I didnt even have to buy anything I found a paint drop cloth and stapled an area around the cages about 5'x5'a with the heater inside and the temps have gone up, I now have 70's on cool end and mid 80's on warm and it can get much warmer I have the heat tape on thermostat. before this on cold days like today most of the cage was in the 60's with the heater on high. So now that I can get good temps Im hoping my boas breed, I have had them seperated now for for about 3 weeks when should I put the male back in with her and where should I have the temps?

Hey Bigdee, glad to hear you got your temps up. One thing about breeding...I am guessing that pic is the two boas in question, and if that cage is 2 feet wide then those boas would be way too young to breed. What kind are they? They look great. Thanks for posting. Andy

OK, Bigdee. Sounds like a good combo on that pair. If your female is fit for breeding put them together...See if he shows interest. If not after a couple days take him out for a day and then try him again. Let me know what happens, and good luck. Andy
