two old ladies giving the youngster the "dirt"
I have always fed my Collareds seperately because they usually fight over the food. I have to take each one out seperately to feed, except the adults (they do fine eating together). I am scared if I keep feeding my Juvies and baby yellowheads seperately, they'll never eat together without fighting or biting eachother.
My questions are, do you feed yours seperately or do they all eat together? Does your collareds fight at all for food?
Thanks

I don't have an answer to your question,I only have one Collared. But I wanted to say, what pretty Lizards you have!!
They are a great site to look at!!!
my collareds have always eaten together and i have never seen them fight over food. twice i have seen one mistake a moving foot for a moving cricket but they never broke skin and always let go right away. maybe try throwing them in on different sides of the cage at the same time so they all don't feel compelled to beat each other to that one spot

In fact,I have to fight to get them to EAT this time of year!
The worst mine ever get into it is if two lizards grab opposite ends of a super worm, but usually the worm is the only one injured!
For some reason, my females especially, have no manners, and are aggressive when they eat.
I either hand feed them, give each a couple till they are not as hungry, then I will put a few more crickets in. I will feed one, and toss a few to the other end for another lizard.
I feed mine every day, so its not that they are THAT hungry, I have seen these females stuff 2 crickets in at the same time just so no one else gets it, LOL Very grabby !
They were not brought up to be that way, ehhehehehe

I should be feeding them together. I know they fight over the food becuase I see the Aquaflame females always biting eachother if I try to feed them together. I have never fed them together, so that might be a problem.
Thanks
