Little female.

Lizarddude720 Jan 23, 2005 01:57 PM

Hi

I have 2 beared dragons living together. One is my female who is 7 months and my male who is also 7 months. Im going to get a larger tank really soon so dont tell me they need a larger 1 cuz i know. My male, who was smaller thean my female when i got them is now like twice her size. He has alot more weight on him. He is much wider than her. My girl is supposed to have all these vibrant colors on her but she is alway grey and if always hiding under the corkbark while the male is always out and about. Is it the fact that since the male is living with her is stressing her out which is causing her to hide, be gray and be smaller then him or is it something else?

Thanks
Paul

Oh, and when males have a behavior like that, it is called dominace. That is most likely why your female is hiding, gray, and small. Does she even get any food or does the male eat it all. You should have done your research before buying a bearded dragon, or two at that. People make little mistakes but this is a potentially dangerous one, please correct it ASAP!
