Which is better? Pros and cons of each? Thanks.
I only have a Habba Mist, so it's all I can speak on.
Pro's:
-it's got a built-in timer
-small, easy to attatch to the side of the cage
-relatively inexpensive for what it is...
-it has 2 spray nozzles (tho if you mount it on the outside of the cage, you can only use one)
Con's:
-it's insanely noisy for such a little thing
-if you set it to 60 seconds every hour, you need to refill the reservoir 2 times a day (it's too small)
-it's more of an electric spray bottle than a mister.
-the longest you can have it on for is 60 seconds... my chams barely relaize it's on before it goes off again.
-it leaks if it's not 100% level.
-you can buy an ultrasonic humidifier & retro-fit it with a PVC pipe & timer to get a more sophisticated misting system that you can have more control over for about the same cost as a Habba Mist.
I personally would not recommend it. I'm fast on my way to burning out the motor b/c I often forget to refill it as soon as I get home from work... I'd say go with the other choice, or build one yourself... it's worth the time & effort to get a mister that you can set to your preferences & those of your animal.
Good Luck!

Get the mr. moisture. I have one and it's awesome. You can pretty much customize the misting time anyway you want (when to mist, how often, and how long) their a little pricey for some people, but it's definitely worth it in the end. It's not the quietest thing in the world, but it's not loud and noisy.
And staty as far away from the HabbaMist as possible. My friend bought one for his gecko. He used it for three days and now it's in his garage. I got to see it in action and it's pretty terrible. It work as good as a broken spray bottle.
