New crestie - what morph?

koashmar Jan 23, 2005 03:59 PM

Well, I finally brought the little bugger home. He's settling in well, though it hasn't been more than a half hour since he arrived. He's a "petstore" variety - if I do well with him though, I really want to get some nicely colored ones from the reptile show or a breeder. I think he's got really nice coloring though.

Here are some pictures...I had just misted him before taking one of the photos so I got lucky and nabbed him licking the leaf!

What do you think? He's about 5 1/2 inches long, head to tip of tail.

On the ruler to measure...this was the only way I could think of to measure him accurately.

the " flame" is the most apparent but if you look at the sides it's got a faint harlequin pattern to it. also has some pretty decent dalmation spotting on it.
i'd probably call it a harlequin dalmation crested gecko.
