Maybe you should not be breeding until you research more on breeding boas. I'm not trying to be rude but there is allot more to know about breeding boas than just putting two boas together and watch them "do it". To ansewer your question, seeing you female ovulate will tell you your female MAY be gravid. My first breeding I missed ovulation in both my females, I was also moving at the time and not spending much time watching them. Hope everything works out for you.

Im sorry I did not mean to offend you. By the way you asked your question and the info you stated it seemed as you were trying to breed your boas without knowing anthing about it.

and you've had this animal a month and have seen her lock up a bounch of times,i wouldn't handle her to much, like taking her to a vet ,maybe a vet can come to you w/ the ultasound,or maybe you can buy one

Real simple, " Call around town and find a Vet that has an Ultrasound. " Then, you can easily tell. You can " palpate ", but it depends how far along she may or may not be, if palpating is effective. Another option, if that animal is really a 108 pounds, you could put her on a diet or go ahead and put a bullet in her head. She definately will not live much past 10yrs at that size, what a shame.......GOD BLESS.......Johnson Herp
