Hey Joe... Here are some pics of the snakes you sold me.

Here are some pics of snakes that Joe Pociask sold to me as unproven axanthic hets. (you can see a pic of the mother axanthic on his website) They are nice snakes that eat well and are very mellow without being skittish. Here is a pic of the two of them together.

Sideview of the male showing the row of bullseye spots going up his side. I always thought it was a pretty cool pattern

I like em... Tell me what you think...

Mark

Yeah...you'll have to send those back right away...lol. You mentioned them as being mellow, and you're absolutely right. The 4 that I kept from the clutch are the mellowest babies I've ever raised. They never once snapped or bit me, even in the first weeks after hatching when most hatchlings are at least a little nippy. As far as the "bullseyes" go, I get tons of those from the male that sired this clutch (with two different females over the past couple of years). Don't know if there's some genetic component going on, an environmental factor at play, or what...but it sure is neat. Anyway, I'm very glad they're doing so well for you. The male I kept is doing just great (see picture in my post from Thursday). He's packing on the weight and should be good to go this upcomming winter (starting Novemeber-December '05). You'll be the first to know how it goes. I'll include a pic of mom below for anyone that's interested. Thanks again Mark and take care!
