I am building a new rack for my ball pythons. I am going to use boxes that measure 36" x 18" x 12" I want to use 11" flex watt heat tape. With a thermostat on the tape will this provide the prpper temp? The room I use for animals is about 70 degrees!

Sounds good! Just make sure you put somehting on the flexwatt so the tubs will not rob the plastic off the element. Foil tape will work fine..
