chamelons are pretty solitary animals and when housed together they would stress each other out alot. its not a good idea to keep them together.

it is not a good idea but can be done....the only thing is, is it sort of wastes space. so two females would need at least a 4 foot tall cage that is about 5-6 feet wide so they have room to get completely out of sight.

its easier to just have 2 cages that are 4 ft high and 2 foot (length and width)

i found out that even when the cham cant see another lizard it knows it is there from when i put a crested gecko (adult) is with my veiled for two days while I redid his cage....the cham stopped eating and started roaming the cage even though the gecko only came out at night when the cham was sleeping.

so i wouldn't even keep chams in the same room....but thats just me....

Dont put them in cages with one another.

Could I set up 2 different cages next to each other with a divider in between them? Like wood or metal?

so long as they cannot see each other you should be OK.
