If not, I suggest you take a look. They are very impressive, but out of my league. Whoever can afford and keep them well is very lucky.

I have been told that it is going to be given full species status, and will be known as Varanus amarillo (amarillo being spanish for the word yellow).

Why are the ones for sale not "real" yellow prasinus. I'm not talking about the various v. melinus for sale. The prasinus in the classifieds look very similar to the one you posted, maybe a bit less intense (but that could be due to the camera).
Also if you scroll down to the persons first add for these animals, with different pictures, the yellow is very bright, and resemble the photo you posted more.
$20,000????????............think not....
The exporter in INDO that says he took that picture says it is the same as the greenish yellow ones, but just nicer. Says came from the same island, Kofiau.
This is what he said, dont know if its true, I can get both, ones that look not so yellow and ones like that, that are very yellow.
