Is this plant safe for my chameleon, it looks sturdy, and I could use some plants like these, thanks.

Julie-

Schefflera arboricola AKA dwarf Schefflera is non-toxic. I have quiet a few of these trees myself, they are great. I prefer the variegated plants, but have a mix of regular ones to. Hope this helps!

Thanks, where did you buy yours? I was thinking about going to home depot or somewhere like that. But I don't have six weeks to get the fertilizer out. Unless there's some faster technique to get the fertilizer out? Thanks

How tall do they get? And if they get too tall, I can just orune them down without any problems, right?

Julie-

Yes, I get all my plants at HomeDepot. The best thing to do is spray them down with a soap and water mix, spray that off with the hose, and then repot so that the chameleon can not eat the dirt the plant came in which will have green fertilizer balls in it and prelite. I like to use 1/2 dollar size rocks to cover the dirt up so they cant get to it. Use Suppersoil name brand soil (no prelite/vermiculite) when repotting. Try not to disturb the roots to much, on ficus trees if you mess with the roots they will drop all there leafs, I don't touch there roots. If the tree gets to big just trim it back. Hope this helps!
