Differences between kings.

I'm still a novice to the kingsnake/milksnake world, but I've noticed that my brooksi are quite a bit different from my cal kings. I do follow the same general husbandry and feeding guidelines for both, but my brooksi all seem to do things on an accelerated basis. They slither a lot more quickly, swallow their food a lot more quickly, and even seem to digest a lot more quickly. Moreover, I see a different style in the way my brooksi move and behave, as well as faster reflexes. I find it all pretty darn cool. I can totally see how a brooksi king is capable of overpowering and consuming other snakes, but it never really made sense how my cal kings could do the same when it would take so long for them to gobble one pinky.

Am I imagining this or does each locale have its own flavor? What would be the next step for me if I'm going to expand on other subspecies? Any personal recommendations?

Goini kings are great they have "Brooksi Personality" i had fun with my "normal" female, and hope to have fun with my new "blaze" female. I totally know what you mean by Brooksi seem to digest their food quicker, all my Brooksi are ready within 3-4 dayz for another meal, I find cali kings grow the slowest out of all the different subspecies of kings I've raised.
