I'm new to snakes, and wondering if these beauties are good for a beginner. Also, are they pretty calm like corns, or are they high strung, nervous snakes that always bite and musk? Thanks for any help,
Mike

I had boa constrictors about 15 years ago. 2 yrs ago, I got back into snakes and got my first gray. She is puppy dog tame. She is the most awesome snake. I soon bought 4 more, and only 1 has pooped on me, but after a couple of weeks of handling, none of them do it. It is not that bad anyway. You'll get over it. I don't own any, but I hear some cal kings never stop doing it. I would definately recommend a grayband, but make sure it is feeding on pinkies first. They can be stubborn starters on mice. --KINGSNAKEN
