my turtal tank is pretty bare bones right now. Ease of cleaning and all that. i was think of trying to make it look more natural, lots of rocks and wood and what have you. I'm not really sure the turtles will care, but i'll like it better.
does any one have any input on keeping a natural tank, ie what they've done (pics if possible) what cleaning is like, if they noticed "happier" turtles?

just found this link, might be helpful for you. i have a tank alot like it and it works perfect and is easy
use something raised up so the turtle can swim the whole tank and climb around too. gives them levels, more room. rocks and stuff let them keep toenails worn down right. if you have a good filter working for you, using rocks and stuff wont be a problem

Link worked for me but I am puzzled about something... I noticed they have gravel in the bottom of the tank... I was told not to put gravel in the bottom because they tend to try to eat it?

i have a little. I do notice that they pick it up when ferreting around for food, but they always recognize that it's a rock and spit it back out.
