Please tell me I'm not alone........

Right about now I feel like the only breeder/keeper of ball pythons in Minnesota. I just had the last of my keeper friends move out of state. I'm not depressed or anything I just don't know of anyone else in Minnesota who is actually breeding or planning on breeding ball pythons. I know of a few people who have various species they keep as pets but that is it.

Sooooo......Any Minnesotans out there? Or even close the the Minnesota/Iowa border?

I'm in Courtland, it's a small town about 30 minutes outside of Mankato.

Don't worry. I'm the only one I know doing this in upstate South Carolina. Oh, well. Less local competition. =)

I'm in MN, I've been breeding balls for about 3 years now and breeding other species of snakes for about 14 years. There are a lot of breeders and other herp hobbyists here in MN. Have you considered joining the MN herp society? We've got about 500 or more active members currently. Meetings are every month, I've included a link to their website.

I live in the northern suburbs of Mpls, and am breeding my balls for the first time this season. I hope to have pastels and/or het ghosts, anything will thrill me, being this is my first year! Later I hope to make "true ghosts," as well as breed exceptional carpet pythons. Now I have a great jcp and a pair of awesome spitfire west papuan carpets, along with my totally modest ball collection and a corn.

I haven't made it to a MN herp society meeting yet, but someday I'll show up. it is nice to know there are other bp fans not too far away.

I live in Michigan. I haven't breed any ball pythons YET. I just purchased my first ball about 4 weeks ago, he's doing great!

What part of the state are you in? I'm on the east side ,Augres, on the north end of the Saginaw bay. Have had a pair of normals for 13 years now. She's gravid so I guess we'll have some young'ns here shortly. Luck to ya.

I am in the process of moving back to Minneapolis from Anoka, so I'll finally get to go to meetings. I have a small collection of ball pythons that are breeding at the moment, but I'm really looking forward to breeding my pair of bloods next year. Aww, they're so sweet!
