I'll give you a reason that I speculate no one has responded. No offense to you, but if you aren't sure of what you bought then no one is going to be able to correctly ID it. I see these posts quite frequently and usually just avoid them becuase a correct ID is almost impossible on these carpets. If you didn't buy it from someone reputable that had it labeled as a certain type then it could be anything. It looks like a coastal with heavy jungle influence to me, but it could be anything. It's beautiful none the less so you do have a nice looking snake.
No offence taken whatsoever! Thanks for the opinion. I bought him from (ex) friends who have a reptile shop. Just labelled "carpet python"
