STRIPED MOJAVE and History

Jeremy Stone Jan 24, 2005 03:22 PM

Hello, I get lots of emails of people asking me to update them on the Stripe Mojaves. Here is a picture of one of the 3 produced at 450 grams. This one is a Male.

In 04 I bred a Mojave male to a NORMAL female Ball that was Striped. She looked a little different, but not anything special, and just a very nice NORMAL. I got 7 eggs. 4 Normals, and 3 Striped Mojaves. The normals were normal, but the Mojaves were All Striped. 1 of the Normals did have striping but it wasn't as dramtic as the MOM and the 3 mojaves. I hope to see if this is a fluke or if this is something genetic. The Mom now has 14 mm follicles, and I'm hoping to get this Male up to breeding size to breed her. IF not, I'll use the same Mojave male that bred her last year. He is just a Normal Mojave I got from the Snake Keeper.

Hope you like the Picture and the Update. Have a great Breeding season in 05, and I hope to see a Lot of KILLER Ball Pythons. Take Care, Jeremy Stone
