do you have those? I thought they were cool looking, but wasn't sure about the genetics. Andy said they popped up out of some of his brooksi???? Who knows with that guy. He changed his stories every time I talked with him.

Hey Rainer, I think it looks real Blaze-ish also. What is the story behind this snake? Is it a cross of some sort??? Tom Stevens

No I don't have any of those.

I don't know the history or the genetics. I just took a snapshot of it at the Tampa show a couple years back. I think he said it popped out of his Dream line of kings and thats why he called them "fruitions".

Gotta admit I like Andys way of naming things.LOL!

... it's too bad. Andy has a great knack for the hobby. It seems he can get most any ssp. to breed (although many are crosses and intergrades)
It's also a shame (to some) that he's had some of the best of the best naturally occuring specimens and then used those to make some hybrids/intergrades and maybe losing the "pureness" of the line along the way. I know some getula he and friends collected in the Tampa Bay area rival any Brook's I've seen and indeed others had more intense yellow than ANY I've seen.
A few years back many of us would breed without regard to locality to get what in the end we hoped would be "Super Brook's" or similar with other species/subs.
Sadly, last year I lost my last snake that displayed any of that yellow (although mostly in the anterior/neck region).
Anyway, Andy's "Jurassic Milks" have certainly taken some of the market share, huh? It would be sad to me that such a successful breeder would in the end be known only for his work with crosses and the like.
