She shed last night so once again I tried to get a decent shot. I don't know if I need a new camera or some photography lessons....or both??!?!?!?! Regardless this snake is always worth a look. Tom Stevens

Nice! What's the history of this snake?

Captive bred? Wild-caught? Locale?

Thanks

Thanks Kerby, this snake originates from a single WC. It was in someones collection for well over 10 years before it was lent to Terry Vandeventer for a breeding loan. I have this female WS, a 100% het female, 2 66% het females and 1 100% het male, all are 03s. There are not many others out there yet. One of it's relations was in the Betchel book, and only recently have they been brought into availability in the hobby. I am trying to be patient but man these grow much slower than my Brooksi. I tried increasing the feedings for the WS and she started to get fat as opposed too long so I will let nature run its course. I am hoping 06 is my year for these guys, In person they're nothing short of breath taking. I am very lucky to have them. Tom Stevens

Thanks bro, you know all my Specks were snappers as hatchlings but they all mellowed and none bite now. They're great pets and very cool snakes. The hets are very pretty too, I hope these WSs bring some attention to them.....Tom Stevens

Keith,
Read the first post at the beginning of the thread. I think he has some 100% hets and 66% hets.

The group I have consists of
1 White Sided female
1.1 100%hets
2 female 66% hets
As of now the 1.1 100% hets are the largest, the 2 possible het females got too fat so they're on a diet. The White Side is no more than 140 grams. She also gained weight as opposed to length so I cut back her feedings a long while ago. Now she is feeding hard again but looks perfect. I wish these grew like Brooksi!
