Incubating Question.

mike777777 Jan 24, 2005 05:32 PM

I am currently using T-Rex's "Forest Floor" substrate as my egg laying box medium. I am wondering if I can also use this safely for my incubator. I use a Ziplock container with a hole cut in the corner for my egg laying box. I was considering using the very same box to incubate and just switch to a full lid on top. Thanks for any suggestions.

i just use vermiculite, very inexpensive and works great. i believe the advantages would be that the vermiculite will stay cleaner in a humid/moist environment. just what i use....
