I am keeping 1.3 eastern boxies. They just got moved to a 8x8 outdoor pen which they seem to like very much. When I was cleaning out their old enclosure, one of the females had buried about 5 eggs. Some were obviously rotten while others were ok but not fertile. Last night the female laid in the water bowl in the new enclosure. Tonight I am taking the waterbowl out to see what happens. They have a mound of sand and dirt about 4-5 inches deep that I want them to use for a nest site. Will they use it? Also I live in Tampa so can I leave the eggs in the dirt mound will they incubate on their own?
