Checking for follicles and is it to late for a last minute breed.

I was just wondering how you check for follicles. I read in a post the snake was producing 14mm follicles I was just wondering how would you go about checking.

My second question is I have a 2100 gram female that just endend its quarantine period do you think it is to late to try and breed her this season. All of my other females have been breeding since early november.
