Hi Todd,
The Kingville red bulls are a locality color phase. Offspring from red parents can vary in adult coloration from yellow/brown to red as the trait is not simple recessive in inheritance. Although, red to red breeding seems to produce more red offspring. My breeders are from John Ginters line.
