Hello all.
About a week ago I noticed white splotches on the skin of one of my aquatics - a new arrival still in quarantine. I went and got Zoo Med's Sulfa dip and soaked her everyday for 7 days, but it looks like that didn't help. I just added some salt to the water yesterday, and no improvement yet.
So my question here is : what am I up against? I thought fungal or maybe bacterial, but shouldn't the sulfa dip have helped? Should I keep up with the salt? I read a little on betadine soaking, but couldn't find many specifics on this (concentration, etc) so I am hesitant to try it. I've never had a skin problem like this on any of my other turtles, and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks all
