First off I would to thank the following people for their for their very imformative responses to my questions below!! Greatly appreciated!! I read these posts a long time ago, but jus now really had the time to sit down and respond..
I found out I am going to be able to get the turtle now, but it might be a bit longer before I am able because I have found out that the tank is cracked and not in good shape at all so there is no way I can put more water in it then they have (about 2-3inches...!!) That is what the turtle has lived in for all its life....bout 8 years now i am guessing...Poor Thing!! They also say that there is no way I could move it without it possibly breaking.
But anyhow, now I have a problem, I need to find another much larger tank (I knew I had too anyway, but it is much sooner than I expected)...I looked at Petco site, and their tanks are quite expesive so I am looking in newspapers and this Buy Trade Sell Magazine we have in New England area called "Uncle Henrys" for large but cheaper tanks.. I dont want to have to upgrade the tank in the future, so I would like to find a somewhat reasonably priced 80-100 gal or so.
Anyway, to cut to the chase..(sorry my posts ALWAYS seem long..lol)
I was wondering if anyone could possibly posts some pics of your turtle tank setups so I can get an Idea of what I am supposed to do a little more before I actually get my turtle..I need to be able to visualize things...LOL
A few Ideas will definatley be helpful
