Does anyone know if the proven yellow bellies out there may have come from the same locality in Africa or any of the morphs for that matter? You would think that if a wild caught morph comes in that other balls in that area may be in the same gene pool. Any studies on this?

I believe I read in on of the ball python book by stefan broghammer that the ball morphs have been collected in the same area in Africa. It stated that the PIEBALDs were REGULARLY COLLECTED in the wild and the ALL of them were collected in the area East of GHANA and stretching along the Ghana-Togo border
