I'd say "NO" on the spiny plants.... just to many ways to have problems ...

I do understand that Jade Plants are safe.

what I found was:

1) if the plant is semi-study the dragon will climb on it and claw and beat it to death...

2) watering is a hassle.... for example any crickets that get in the tank will hide in the damp soil and that can lead to problems... or lack of drainage can lead to fungus that can be bad for the dragon.

3) cleaning up dead plant parts wet sand or soil adds to the work you have to do.

I stick with rocks and bricks and shelf liner....

but I am planning on setting up a "reptarium" on my porch for summer time where I may put in safe plants for short times..

Oh, by the way....

many plants can be safe you need to check by family and ask if it's safe for a dog or child to eat it... many garden centers will understand that and help with major problems....

for example the Rose family has many edible plants
Roses, Strawberrys, apples are all edible in part ...

also many flowers are safe to eat....
watch out for *ANY* plant that when cut has a "Milky" sap!
like Oleander for example or a rubber plant.

also I may ruin the spelling here "Diffembachia"
also known as "Dumb cane" is toxic it's a common house plant with big leaves with white patterns on them.

most ferns are edible.....

most other house plants are not....

if you have a specific plant post the name and I may know....
I have a lot of plants and almost became a landscape designer when I was young...
