I printed a copy of the amended bill last month and now someone else wanted a copy. Guess what neither bill is found old or new in the bill directory. I wonder why. I even had it on my favorites so I can go back to it, and nothing not found. Im gonna keep looking but for now I have found a old post I wrote here it is.
June 19th bill states this.
1 (3) CANIDAE (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF DOMESTICATED DOGS),
2 (4) URSIDAE,
3 (5) ALL REPTILES THAT ARE VENOMOUS BY NATURE, PURSUANT TO DEPARTMENT
4 REGULATION, AND THE FOLLOWING SPECIES AND FAMILIES: BOIDAE FAMILY,
5 ASIATIC (WATER) MONITOR (V. SALVATOR), NILE MONITOR (V. NILOCITUS),
6 WHITE THROAT MONITOR (V. ALBIGULARUS), BLACK THROAT MONITOR (V. ALBIGU-
7 LARUS IONIDES) AND CROCODILE MONITOR (V. SALVADORI) AND ANY HYBRID THER-
8 EOF,
9 (6) CROCODILIA.
And then it got amended on July 12th in further detail the the Boide family, here it is.
19 (5) All reptiles that are venomous by nature, pursuant to department
20 regulation, and the following species and families: {Boidae family}
21 BURMESE PYTHON (PYTHON M. BIVITTATUS), RETICULATED PYTHON (PYTHON RETI-
22 CULATUS), AFRICAN ROCK PYTHON (PYTHON SABAE), GREEN ANACONDA (EUNECTES
23 MAURINUS), YELLOW ANACONDA (EUNECTES NOTAEUS) , AUSTRALIAN AMETHYSTINE
24 PYTHON (MORELIA AMETHISTINA KINHORNI), INDIAN PYTHON (PYTHON MOLURUS),
25 Asiatic (water) Monitor (V. {Salvator} SALVATOR), Nile Monitor (V.
26 {Nilocitus} NILOCITUS), White Throat Monitor (V. {Albigularus
Once the bill became a law on 1/1/05 it was removed from the list of proposed legislation. However, your list of banned species is correct.
Funny
No Croc Monitors!
I guess you can keep other scrub pythons too!
