Can Australian pythons be exported from the USA

I've just recently sent an e-mail to a breeder in the USA (who exports)to enquire about buying two womas and shipping them to the UK. He said he couldn't ship australian pythons to the UK. Is this how the law stands in America for everyone or is it maybe something to do with permits this guys not got. Thanks for any help. Carl

It would be in his ability to acquire permits. Most breeders here do not have them, you don't need them if you are working with captive born gene pools in the U.S.
