Houseing Hatchlings =)

Hey everyone

Well my eggs are about 53 days old now, and should be hatching this month.

When they hatch, would it be best to keep them all together in a large Rubbermaid containor, or should I separate them into a few different 10 gallon tanks?
If I use the 10 gallons, how many hatchlings would you say per tank?
The large containor would probably be easier cuz I wouldn't need 2 lights for each setup, but if I kept them all together would I have a greater chance of tail and toe nips?

This is my first clutch and I just wanna make sure I have everything ready 4 the lil guys when the hatch

btw, what's the earliest they coud hatch? (they're 53 days)

Thanks!

They could hatch any day now...I have never had any hatch before 60 days but know a few who have. I put them in one large container at first.....then as they start eating I remove them and group them into other containers in groups of 4-5.....probably with 10 gallon tanks I would do no more than 4 though. Keeping the group size down will minimize nips IMO....as they start growing, I then also regroup according to size as some grow faster or slower than others.....good luck....keep us posted.
