The one with the fly is especially interesting. What did you use to glue it on there? 
Congrats on your new lens. Does it have a focusing motor inside? Do you use autofocus much for close-up work? I seem to get better results manually focusing when shooting very close to the subject. What settings did you use for the fly pic (shutter speed, aperture, flash)?
Here is a close-up of some water drops on a ball python. I’m experimenting with lighting to see what I can get. That’s the great thing about digital - there’s no penalty for trial shots, assuming you use rechargeable batteries.
