Corns and Gray bands?

toiletoctopus Jan 25, 2005 06:25 PM

Are gray bands as calm as corns, and good for handling? I really like both of them-I just think the gray band is a bit more of a beautiful animal. Are the bites of gray bands small as well, or can they inflict serious damage? Thanks

I have 5 GBK's and 3 Corns, and none of them ever tried to bite. The GBK's only get around 3 feet or so. I doubt that if you got bitten that it would hurt that much. I have only been bitten by a Scarlet King. They are tiny. Go to a reptile show, and hold some graybands. They are very gentle snakes. If you get 1, ouy will not regret choosing a GBK, but make sure it is feeding first. Get a couple of books, or look up their temperament on the internet. It is worth doing some research before you buy any reptile or other pets. I have some good contacts for GBK's if you want any locale nice ones.--Kingsnaken
