QUIck question,ive only had my western for a short while, and its going through its shed. it's been living in its water dish since it began.it doesnt have mites, and the temp seems ok... has anyone observed this b4,.,.thanks alot in advance

Snakes, as well as other animals, need humidity to shed there skin. It helps soften and losen up there skin.

Try putting a tuperware container( with lid, and small hole cut in the side) with moist news paper over/under your heat source. This will give your critter a place to go to seek out more humdity.

Always your snake will be fine.
