Humidity....

deviledapple Jan 26, 2005 11:28 AM

I'm having a hard time keeping the humidity up. I plan on getting a better cage when i have the cash, but for now i am wondering if keeping the hide box humid will "cut it" or if she's still going to be at risk for problems. I have no problem keeping a hide in the cage moist, just not the whole cage. Any input is highly appreciated!

You will be much better off providing localized humidity via a humidity hide box rather than keeping the entire cage humid at the risk of preventing good air circulation. Your burm will then be able to choose its optimal range. I would recommend keeping a humidity box on both the warm and cool areas of the cage.
