can red-bellied snakes eat wax worm?

If they'll go after them, sure why not. They are always fine on slugs and worms.

You might try "sliming" the waxworms first by smearing them with a slug. This may fool the snake into eating the waxworms. I've never done this with my red bellies, but it might work.
