I took my nephew out this morning to look for DI's; we caught three big males and saw about 15 total. Once 10:30am rolled around and the temperatures climbed above 100 degrees, they started moving at light speeds and we gave up our search.

I finally got to chase some of these in Az a while back------- never got too close though!! Which is good---I did not have to run far at all!

If not for a fishing pole and a special lizard noose, I doubt that I'd be catching anything today; as kids we used to run them down during the heat of the day; dig them out of holes and just about anything else...no more!
