I have had 3 tokay geckos for probabally over a yesr now and i think i have 3 females, but im not sure and i want to try to breed them this summer but i need to get a male but i dont know how to tell if it is a male. if someone could help me out that would be great. i have tryed looking for information about this on the internet but some of the web pages contradict each other.

If you have 3 that are all female, the undersides all look the same I take it? when you see a male you will be able to tell the difference. Males have much larger prenal pores and the area underneath between his legs should be(mine is) shiny waxy looking compared to females. My male was about 9 months before this became real pronounced, but you could def tell he was male compared to a female. Srry lost my sexing pics when hard drive crashed several weeks ago.

My male was nice and just came out on front glass letting me snap a decent pic of his underneath. Hope this will help you.
