First, those are really nice looking burms. Many folks, particularly breeders or those wishing to breed their animals, rush the process by speeding up the process via power feeding. Although this will produce a faster growing animal, it will also lead to the early demise of the snake. Burms, due to their very slow metabolisms, don't lend themselves well to overfeeding. My adults get 1-2 prey items (usually rabbit) once a month...TOPS. Some of these animals are in their 20's and 30's, are large, robust but have excellent muscle tone. Even babies don't need to be fed more than one or two prey items every 10 days. Have fun with your babies.

>>Hey everyone, I'm new to burms but not to big constrictors. I knew it was just a matter of time before I got myself a few This is a really sweet pair of 100% het granite 66% het albinos. They are both '04 but the female is already about 6ft and the male is more around 4. The guy I got them from said he was feeding the female heavy so she'll breed quicker but I think I'll tone it down a bit for her. Anyway, as soon as I figure out how to post some pics i will Thanks for reading! Diana
