Has anyone done it and do you have any tips? How long can a chameleon be okay in a properly packed container?

I've done it. Make sure you have the CITES documents and have checked with both the exporting authorities and importing authorities to make absolutely sure you have all the needed documents to import and export these animals. Methods of packing depend a lot on the size of the animal, the weather where they are coming form and leaving and the estimated time in travel. When I did it, they were in transit for approx. 36 hours and all were fine. Feel free to email me if you'd like any specific tips.
