How do you all keep the humidity high in vision

Rottenweiler9 Jan 26, 2005 08:04 PM

I have a 6ft vision cage for my super tiger and I have moss in there and I spray it every night but the air is always dry when I come back. Any ideas.

I had the same problem with my Vision and I finally found the perfect solution...

Sell it. Buy a better cage. I purchased an Animal Plastics cage becasue of the humidity issue and a couple other things I didn't like with the Vision. I've since bought 2 more cages and 4 racks from them. You'll be glad you did.

That is true the humidity does stay high in there, I even though of moving the retic into the AP cage and the Burm into the vision cage.

Who say's visions don't hold humidity!!!! lol Here's my trick: I sealed the back vent with plastic, preferably "Glad Press'n Seal, with grip text" now when I add the repti-bark humidity levels should be just fine. Thanks everyone for your help. Oh and Brenda, don't worry I'm still getting thos AP's cages lol ....

89% humidity seems a bit steep if held for too long.

Yes its a bit to steep. I raise humidity levels to help them shed then drop them back down. Notice in on of the pics only one vision has the higher humidity levels cause that female tiger het is in a shed. Normal levels are kept 50-70%
