Is it possible to purchase a leo as just a normal baby leo but then u find out its a giant normal leo? Do both giant babys and reg babys look the same when young?

ps i got mine at petco and my normal is only like 2-3 months old and he/she is huge already beautiful plump tail and one of my friends have had leos n his are bout 4 months older and my normal is bigger then both his normal and albino

Alright, to answer your question, I guess we need to know exactly how big your little baby is, as in length and weight? It could be a simple matter of differences in general care or genetics, but I doubt that you would already be finding a "giant" in a store like Petco. So, get some specifics and then we will make a decision from there.

I posted about my leo one time, wondering if he was a giant. He is 10inches long, pretty darn big. But people replied telling me that although he may be a large leo, they have to be from the Tremper line of giants to be considered a giant

I actully have a gentic giant, and at a young age it was small untill it hit about 6 month to 8 month then it really took off. For the longest time the other leo gecko i got at the same time was actully bigger then the giant and was growing alot fast and was huge, but that stopped at about the same time my giant started growning. To give u an idea of a GIANT mine is now 9 months and is already a foot long and wieght about 80g. hope this helps, i think u really just have a big healthy gecko on your hands.

I've had Kalypso now for close to a year and a half. She was almost full grown when I got her from Petco.

She's about 11 inches and weighs 75 grams. Normal morph, but I think she could be part giant.

Also, my petco gets a ton of leo's shipped to them. Last year they had tangerine's and giant's shipped to them from a breeder who didn't know what was what (must've been a new one to the field).
