Hard to tell from that photo, but I'd say some type of nigricollis or relative. If you can get a better quality shot, post it and we'll see if we can take it further.

It could be a Naja mossambica. The only reason I'm leaning towards mossambica over nigricollis is the fact that its head looks brown. West African nigricollis generally have a slate gray to black body including the head, while East African nigricollis are more brown all over. Mossambica vary alot, but I have seen them with slate gray bodies with brown heads. As WW said, it's hard to tell with the blurry pic.

Looks similar to the Hemachatus (Ringhals) that Austin Stevens was playing with on tonight's episode. But probably not. Does it play dead and/or have more than one set of light bands?
It's not a Hemachatus. It is either a nigricollis or a mossambica.
