How can u tell if your turtle is going to lay eggs???

I have 2 RES, had no idea what sex they were, until now. I am pretty sure they have mated. How long before she lays eggs? What do I need to do? I just figured out how to care for these guys, I have no idea about eggs and babies etc!! I have learned so much from this site, I am asking anyone who can help me . I want to make sure I do everything right!!! Thanks. Laura
