hello,my cousin was a breeder of green tree pythons.he overdosed on heroin last month and i took his snakes and eggs home.i have kept several reptiles ,and i have bred veilded chameleons in the past but am not fond of and do not know much about chondro pythons nor snakes for that matter.anyway, his most recent clutch hatched last week and there were 11 eggs.all of them were yellow except for 4 hatchlings that were pure white.well three hatched and the forth was dead and i had to cut it out of the egg.anyway,i was wondering if these are albino or are they just high white animals?the mother is an aru and has quite a bit of white but is in no way completely white.i was wondering if i should sell them for more money than the yellow ones or not..i cant find any info on albino green trees only burmise pythons, and they sell for the same price as regular colored.i found one pic of an albino green tree but that was yellow, these are white.i traded one to the guy at my local pet store for a kennel for my dog and some other [bleep] i needed.all equaling around 2 hundred bucks.im sure i could have gotten more but he said that they were not worth much since they hadnt eaten yet and most die before they eat.anyway,id like to get rid of them since i dont know much about keeping them,2 already died and i dont have the room.i was wondering what you guys(if you are breeders)sell your whites for in relation to the yellow ones.i know that the albino ones are worth a lot but like i said, these are not albino and look nothing like the yellow snake i have seen pictures of,these are only white with no markings. thanks

Hi dj. Sorry to hear bout your cous.......as for his snakes...with baby gtp's, pigmentation is one of the last things to occur in incubation, and sometimes neonates will die full term, and appear to have no color, or albino-like. but you have said that you have had 2 die already. My advice would be to get in touch with some of the people on chondroweb dot com. If you have an all-white baby chondro that survives, and it is in fact what you describe it to be, then you may have some serious $$ on your hands. a hell of alot more than 200 bux. if u wanna discuss these babies further, please contact me at sbcbig1@yahoo.com. either way, dont sell or trade anything to anyone untill you KNOW what your dealing with. And pix would be a huge help. -Jason
